Lactation Link September Class + Promo Code

We had such a fabulous time teaching our September in-person class in Provo, Utah! We enjoyed having so many moms there learning together and creating their support system for breastfeeding success. Here at Lactation Link, we love helping create confident moms and all the info given at our classes does just that!

From one of our attendees:

“The information I received at your class is invaluable. It has been 4 years since my last attempt at breastfeeding and this course was a great refresher and I also learned lots of new great information that makes me feel much more confident to breastfeed my next baby!”

We love hearing feedback like this! We are thrilled when we can help moms find their confidence! We had so much fun and can’t wait for our next class in January in Lehi, Utah. You can register for that class here.

Here are some highlights from class…

These girls were so smart to bring friends! They are going to be a great support system foreach other!

We had Beka Price there taking photos, check her out for maternity and newborn photos!

Before class, we gave out awesome grab bags from Ergobaby that each mom was able to take home. Milkful Lactation Oat Bars supplied some awesome bars for our mamas. They are the only lactation bar I recommend! They are so yummy and good for mama and baby! You can use the code LLINK for 15% off your order at Milkful if you missed the class or need to stock up again. 😉 We were also able to send our mamas home with boxes of salted caramel chocolates from Mrs. Calls. Such a great treat!

Class instruction

Grab bags are fun but Lactation Link mamas come ready to learn the best tips and tricks for breastfeeding. One tip I shared in class that I like to remind moms about is that while our breasts can store milk, their primary purpose is to make milk. They are making milk on demand every time baby comes to the breast!

lactationlinkevent-33Snack time!

After sitting and learning about the first few days of breastfeeding, we were ready for break! We all enjoyed some yummy acai bowls from Ivie Juice Bar. So delicious! I saw some moms going back for seconds 😉

Photo Booth

During the break, we had a fun photo booth there to take pics and share all the great things we learned. Loved seeing your posts on Instagram after the class!

Hands-on learning

Keeping the event intimate even with a larger crowd was one of our goals and we were able to do that by having two of our educators help with the hands-on learning portion of the class. Each of us love being able to answer moms’ questions and help create confidence in their ability to breastfeed. Helping moms have a good time, filling their bellies with yummy snacks and take home some goodies is great, but really Lactation Link breastfeeding classes are about creating confident moms and helping them feel supported in their breastfeeding journey. We can definitely have fun doing that though. 😉

Ivie Juice Bar and Lucy Darling had some great giveaways for us!

Interactive learning experience

We loved using Vox Vote to have a fun and informative fact or fiction section. This section always gets us thinking and learning about the myths and truths about breastfeeding.

Meeting moms

Meeting Lactation Link moms after my classes and answering their concerns about breastfeeding is one of the most rewarding experiences about starting Lactation Link.

More classes and events

No worries if you weren’t able to come out to this class, we’ve got you covered! Check out our video breastfeeding classes (you can watch them anytime from a computer or mobile device).  Just last week I got an email from a mama in Saudi Arabia who took the video classes and is having a fantastic experience breastfeeding.  Love hearing from you guys.

I’ve created a free e-mail course to help you get breastfeeding started on the right foot! Click the image below for more info.
