Breastfeeding Basics 101 Course (in-person) – Provo, UT

Breastfeeding Basics course in Provo, UT.  Cost is $50.  This 2-hour course is designed to prepare you with the knowledge and confidence to breastfeed your baby!  Taught by Lindsey Shipley, Registered Nurse, certified lactation specialist, and mom of 2.  Topics include: benefits to mom and baby, anatomy and physiology of breastfeeding, breastmilk composition, let-down reflex, kangaroo mother care, latch, positioning, hand expression, frequency of feeding, nipple care, what to do when baby won’t latch, hunger cues, support and planning, and FAQs. Lots of real-life photo and video tutorials. Breastfeeding Basics is helpful not only for first-time Moms but also women who have breastfed previously. First 25 attendees to register receive a grab bag worth over $100!  If you are due with your first or fifth baby anytime in the next 9 months, register now!
